Mike has great analytical skills, especially in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and operations. I recall in the Corporate Finance course, which is Columbia Business School’s cornerstone finance course, Mike got the top score on the final exam. Mike also has a strong conviction and unquestionable integrity and ethics, and contributed to steer the class through some tough times during difficult ethics issues. Mike demonstrated great leadership skill in our MBA class, bringing up creative ideas that united diversed ideas. I first met Mike and several other excellent people from the Berkeley-Columbia MBA program when we took an economics class on Globalization taught by Joseph Stiglitz and Bruce Greenwald in London. We worked together on a paper and have kept in touch since. He is a smart and interesting person. I admire that he graduated from the US Naval Academy. I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again.
